Google Ads negative keywords
A Negative Keyword Tool That Shows Its Reasoning
In the week to Oct 25, Kittredge Auto Care, an illustrative auto repair shop, paid $218 for searches that were never going to book. Parallel AI reviewed it and two other accounts in one request and gave every negative its reason.

How the negative keyword tool decides
Parallel AI builds negative keyword lists from your Google Ads search terms, one account at a time, by five rules you can apply yourself.
Give every search a verdict
Keep is for a search that books jobs. Watch is for one that has brought a call but no job yet, or needs another week. Exclude is for one whose reason shows it will never book, such as someone looking for work or fixing it themselves.
Write the narrowest negative that stops it
At Kittredge Auto Care, an illustrative auto repair shop, the phrase negative “mechanic jobs” stops only searches with those words in that order and never their close variants, so write the exact words the search used.
Test every negative before it goes on
Check it against the searches you keep and watch. A one-word negative blocks the same searches in broad or phrase match, so the test, not the match type, decides whether it is safe.
Check the list against your own keywords
A negative blocks your own keywords too. Before a broad negative goes on, look for its word in the keywords you bid on, and if one holds it, write a phrase negative for the searches you mean instead.
Write down why a word stays off
The review file keeps each word left off beside the rows it would block, so you can attach it to next week’s review.
The search term guide tests a tree service account’s tempting word “cost” before it goes on the list. Read the search term guide
Negative keyword software for every client account
Name the client accounts under your manager account, and one request reviews each against its own searches and keywords, so each account’s negatives go only to its own list. Starter connects 5 Google Ads accounts, Pro connects 10 Google Ads accounts, and Max, Team and Agency connect unlimited Google Ads accounts. Compare the plans.
Questions and answers
Can it review several accounts in one request?
Yes. Name the client accounts under your manager account, up to the number of accounts your plan connects. Each account gets its own verdicts, and its negatives go only to that account’s list.
Where do the negatives go?
To the account’s own shared negative keyword list, the one applied to its Search campaigns, unless you name another list or a single campaign. Nothing is shared between client accounts.
Can it group search terms by word?
Yes. Ask for a search term analysis by word and it totals the cost and calls of every search that shares a word, such as “jobs,” before any one-word negative goes on.
When does the review run?
Whenever you ask, on a Monday morning or any other day. Parallel AI reads the last 7 days of search terms at that moment.
Does it add negatives without asking?
Only if you choose that. You pick what Parallel AI may change in each chat. With the default, Ask before changes, each list change is shown to you before it is made. Plan only drafts the changes and changes nothing. Auto-apply and Full make changes in your selected accounts, and Auto-apply still stops for your decision when account conditions call for it.
Why does the search terms report leave some searches out?
Google leaves low-volume searches out of the report for privacy, so the review works from the searches the report lists.
Is there a free trial?
Eligible new individual, Team and Agency customers can start a five-day free trial. Select your plan, connect Google Ads and complete checkout with a payment card. The trial includes 25% of that plan’s monthly usage and the same model, Google Ads account and workspace limits. Team and Agency trials share 25% of the selected two-seat plan’s monthly allowance across two people. Unless you cancel in Settings → Billing before the trial ends, your selected subscription starts automatically at the monthly, quarterly or annual price shown at checkout.
See the reason behind every negative
One request read 101 searches across three accounts, put 9 negatives against the $218 of searches that were never going to book and blocked none that brought a call.
Connect Google Ads and ask Parallel AI for last week’s review. Every search comes back with its verdict and reason, and each negative is tested before it goes on.
Starter $20 a month connects 5 Google Ads accounts
