Budget pacing for agencies
Google Ads Budget Pacing Software That Explains Every Flag
Halfway through September, Driftwood Kitchens was heading $1,800 over its budget and Juniper Pet Clinic 40% short, while an illustrative agency’s 24 client accounts together were on course for 94% of budget. One request traced each to the change behind it and changed both.
One request checks 24 client accounts
Budget pacing software should name the accounts heading off budget, the change behind each and what each can spend after the fix. In this book the total looked on course at 94%, and the map below shows where the two accounts that were not sit.
94% of budget, and what it hides
Four rules for reading pacing in any account
A budget pacing tool should show its arithmetic. These are the rules the check applies, with each account’s monthly budget and the flags you name.
Find the even line
Halfway through a 30-day month, an even pace has spent half the budget. If a campaign runs only on some days, count its active days. How Google paces those campaigns.
Carry the pace to the month’s end
Divide the spend so far by the days gone and multiply by the days in the month, then flag what lands past the budget or too far under it.
When it runs over, add up the daily budgets
Google can charge up to 30.4 times the daily budgets in a month, so a total above the monthly budget lets spend run past it. After a change, the month can spend what it has spent plus the new daily budgets for each day left. For example, daily budgets of $490 on a $12,000 plan allow up to $14,896. Why daily budgets run past the plan.
When it runs under, find what stopped spending
Look in the change history for a paused campaign or a lowered budget, and in the ads’ status for an ad that stopped serving. Then check what the days left need to land on budget. A campaign that spent its full budget until it was paused comes back at that budget, and two budgets that add up to more than the plan allows over a full month need lowering before the next one.

Every client account in one check
Ask for every client account or only the ones you name, whenever you want the check, and each is read against its own monthly budget.
Other budget pacing tools
Other PPC budget management software paces budgets too. Optmyzr lists multi-account budget pacing, and TrueClicks lists Budget Pacing on its free plan (both checked November 3, 2026). In Parallel AI, the chat that flags an account also reads its change history and makes the budget change you choose. Compare Parallel AI with Optmyzr.
Questions and answers
Does it check every account under a manager account?
Yes. Connect Google Ads with your manager account, then ask for the check across all its client accounts or only the ones you name. Each account is read against its own monthly budget, up to the number of accounts your plan connects.
Does it alert me when an account goes off pace?
No. Parallel AI checks pacing when you ask, so run the check when you want to know, halfway through the month or on a Monday morning. Each check reads spend as Google Ads reports it when you ask. Today’s cost can lag by a few hours, so the example paces on complete days, through Tuesday.
Where do the monthly budgets come from?
From you. Google Ads keeps each campaign’s daily budget, not the monthly budget a client agreed to, so give the monthly budgets in the request or attach the spreadsheet that holds them. Spend and daily budgets are read from Google Ads.
Does it change budgets without asking?
Only if you choose that. You pick what Parallel AI may change in each chat. With the default, Ask before changes, each budget change is shown to you before it is made. Plan only drafts the changes and changes nothing. Auto-apply and Full make changes in your selected accounts, and Auto-apply still stops for your decision when account conditions call for it.
Is there a free trial?
Eligible new individual, Team and Agency customers can start a five-day free trial. Select your plan, connect Google Ads and complete checkout with a payment card. The trial includes 25% of that plan’s monthly usage and the same model, Google Ads account and workspace limits. Team and Agency trials share 25% of the selected two-seat plan’s monthly allowance across two people. Unless you cancel in Settings → Billing before the trial ends, your selected subscription starts automatically at the monthly, quarterly or annual price shown at checkout.
Every flag comes with its reason
24 accounts checked in one request, and the two that were off each traced to the change behind it.
Connect Google Ads and ask Parallel AI for the pacing check across your client accounts. Each flag comes back with its cause, and the change you choose is made in the same chat.
