Why Do Google Ads Reports Take So Long?
Ten clients means ten sets of scorecards, compares and formats before anyone writes a sentence. This guide takes one October report apart, for Ashcombe Chimney Service, an illustrative client.

Why did bookings jump?
ExplainThe first frost on the 9th sent homeowners to book a sweep before their first fire, so bookings rose by half at a lower cost each.

Is the jump real?
Check anomaliesYes. Booked sweep is still the one primary action, counting one booking per click, as it did in September. The month’s one change in the account, the sweep budget raised from $120 to $140 a day on the 11th, came a day after the jump began.
What about the winter?
RecommendHold the sweep budget at $140 a day through November. Then, from December 1, as sweep bookings taper, launch a Chimney repair campaign with $20 a day of it.

Change historyOct 1 to 31, 2026
Because the assembly repeats for every client and every period, and the judgment cannot be copied from last month. Gathering the month, comparing it with the last and putting it in the client’s format is the same work each time. Explaining the month answers why the numbers moved, checking for anomalies answers whether the move is real, and recommending answers what to do next. Those three parts take new thought every month, and they are what the client reads the report for.
Where the hours go
The assembly repeats. Each client needs the month’s scorecards, the compare with the month before and a file in the client’s format, so the nine reports behind Ashcombe’s in the picture hold the same parts with other numbers in them. Google Ads can email a saved report on a schedule, and a template holds the format.
The judgment does not repeat, because each month’s cause is new. In a public r/PPC thread about client reporting, one specialist put the hours down to it.

Where in the account to look
- Check anomalies. Open conversions by day to see where a jump starts. Then confirm in the conversion action’s settings and change history that nothing changed in how it counts, such as a second primary action or a count moved from One to Every. Last, match the jump against the client’s own booked jobs or calls, which also catches a tag firing twice.
- Explain the month. Find the dated cause behind the change, as Ashcombe’s report finds the first frost on the 9th behind its jump.
- Recommend the next move. Name the move, the budget it takes and the day it starts, as Ashcombe’s report does for a new Chimney repair campaign at $20 a day. Then add what the account cannot know, such as when the crew takes repair work.
What Parallel AI does with the report
Parallel AI reads the campaign report, compares October with September, checks the conversion actions and change history, and reads any file you attach, such as the client’s job list. Then it writes the report as a Doc in its three parts, and you can download the Doc as a PDF.
For a book of clients, it writes each account’s report the same way, from its own account, as the client reporting page shows.

Questions and answers
Why do Google Ads reports take so long?
Every client and every period needs its own export, comparison and format, so a book of clients repeats the same assembly many times each month. The cause of the month and the next step still take new thought for each client.
Which parts of a Google Ads report repeat every month?
The assembly. Pulling the month from the account, comparing it with the last and putting the result in the client’s format are the same each month. The explanation and the next step are new each time, and an agent such as Parallel AI writes those from the account too, with what you add.
Does Parallel AI send the report to the client?
No. Parallel AI writes the report as a Doc in the Office Suite, and you download it as a PDF and send it yourself.
