- Start in your own Google Cloud project. Google’s Developer Policy requires agencies to use “their own Google Cloud Platform account and Google Ads access”.

- Turn the campaigns back on in Google Ads, with API code such as Google’s Developer Assistant generates, or through a hosted connector that can make changes.

Can I connect Claude to Google Ads?
Yes. Google’s MCP server for Google Ads connects Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client to Google Ads with read-only access, and hosted connectors add changes to campaigns and budgets. Parallel AI is not a connector. It is its own AI agent platform for Google Ads, with Docs, Sheets and Deep Research built in.
Is the Google Ads MCP server read-only?
Yes. Google’s guide lists the MCP server’s mode as read-only in the current release and says “It cannot modify bids, pause campaigns, or create new assets.” Its tools list the accounts you can reach and run GAQL searches. Google’s Developer Assistant can generate client library code for changes, and hosted connectors can make changes.
Can Gemini connect to Google Ads?
Yes, through an MCP server in the Gemini CLI. Google’s guide shows its Google Ads MCP server added to the CLI’s settings file, ~/.gemini/settings.json, once the server runs in your Google Cloud project. ChatGPT and Claude add the same server as a custom connector.
Is there a free trial?
